Ivey Easley
Sometimes life can just feel like a lot, and somewhere along the way, you may start to feel like you’ve lost yourself. Maybe you’re overwhelmed, overthinking everything, feeling alone, feeling sad, or just not feeling like you anymore. If that’s where you are right now, you don’t have to have everything figured out, and you definitely don’t have to figure it out alone. Sometimes, you just need support finding your way back to you and that’s ok.
Hi. My name is Ivey Easley, and I am a counseling intern here at Mathews Counseling. I truly believe that everyone has a purpose, including you. I’m passionate about helping you see the good in yourself, recognize your strengths, and become the best version of you.
I work with adolescents, young adults, adults, college students, and women who may be dealing with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, overthinking, or just trying to find their way through a new season of life. I want therapy to be a place where you can show up exactly as you are and feel comfortable being yourself. We’ll work together to understand what’s going on in your life, what you need, and where you want to go. I am here to listen, support you, and challenge you when you need it. Some days we may cry, some days we may laugh, and some days we may do a little of both and that’s okay.
To me, success looks like you starting to feel like yourself again, feeling more confident in who you are, and having the tools to handle whatever life brings your way. My hope is that through our work together, you’ll recognize your own strengths, become the best version of you, and feel excited about the person you are becoming.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from North Carolina Central University and my Master of Arts in Psychology from Fayetteville State University. I am currently pursuing my Master of Health Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Catawba College and practicing under the direct supervision of Dr. Adaria Baker.
Outside of counseling, I love reading, listening to music, watching movies, and spending time with my family. I also enjoy exercising… When I am motivated! Overall, I really just value the little things that help me recharge, laugh, and enjoy life.
I’d love the opportunity to support you as you grow, find your confidence, and become the best version of you! Please call our office at 919-587-8018 or visit our website at mathewscounseling.net to request an appointment.
