In which we dig through the internet for our favorite articles related to wholeness and healing in relationships:
MARRIAGE IS MORE THAN CHECKING A BOX ON YOUR TO-DO LIST via The Gottman Institute
The author of this article starts out by making a shocking discovery- she only spends 4 hours a week with her husband. She then goes on to talk about how she scheduled her marriage amongst many other to-do items like picking up the kids and grocery shopping. Does this sound familiar? Read more to find out how this epiphany changed her perspective on her marriage.
THE POWER OF VULNERABILITY via TED
It’s no secret that Brene Brown is one of my favorites. I came across this TED talk of hers on vulnerability. I loved it when she said, “the thing that keeps us out of connection is the fear that we aren’t worthy of connection.” She goes on to talk about how you find connection as a result of authenticity. I’m sure you’ll enjoy listening as she talks about the beauty of being vulnerable when we are connected and authentic.
