Sarha Machamer

Life has a way of throwing curveballs and can leave individuals, couples, and families with too much to handle.

In movies, on TV, in novels, life can seem simplistic, and most of the time, end with a fairytale. In the real world, we strive for comfort, acceptance, intellect, and many more qualities that are hard to achieve.

Each journey is unique and is a building block for our future. It is essential to make sure we have a safe place to feel appreciated, valued, and accepted. Therapy helps provide tools you can use throughout life to maintain a robust and sound structure when those building blocks get knocked out of place.

Hello! My name is Sarha Machamer, a Marriage and Family Therapy intern here at Mathews Counseling.

My goal is to provide each individual, couple, family with the unique tools they need to repair, renovate, or rearrange their building blocks.

We are all different individuals, and sometimes when trying to fit pieces together, it just doesn’t work. I will help you discover tools you can use to pursue building in a new way. I am passionate about working with individuals, couples, and families with a wide range of difficulties.

When I was a child, I wanted to help people and make a difference in the world. I have been a caretaker for children and the elderly for many years. I strive to improve every human being’s quality of life and their level of happiness.

I appreciate how delicate and precious life can be and the importance of living it to its fullest.

Let’s find your best life, together.

If I sound like I could be a good fit for you, I’d love to work with you. I look forward to meeting you and hearing your story.

Sarha is an MFT intern currently in graduate school and under the direct supervision of Dr. Adam Mathews. Sarha primarily offers low-cost therapy options as well as weekend appointment times. Please call our office to see if you qualify to see Sarha.

What our clients are saying about Sarha

“Therapy was very new for me. But my therapist made the process easy, comfortable, and allowed me to get to the root of the issues.”

“It felt natural to speak to our therapist about our issues. I look forward to speaking with her every week. She gives feedback and doesn’t give your typical counselor responses, such as “and how did that make you feel?” etc.”

“It felt like we were paired up with the perfect therapist, we were listened to, she could relate to us and remain unbiased.”
