Core Values: The Culture Behind Our Work

The quality of our work is shaped not only by what we do in the therapy room, but also by the kind of professional community we create around it. This training offers an opportunity to step back from the pace of clinical work and reconnect with the values that guide Mathews Counseling, including abundance, authenticity, community, equity, excellence, and empowerment.

Together, we will explore what these values mean in practice, how they influence the experience we create for clients and one another, and how they can help us navigate decisions, relationships, challenges, and opportunities. Participants will also have space to reflect on their own core values and consider how those values shape the therapist, colleague, and professional they want to be.

Whether you are a W-2 employee or an independent contractor, this training is designed to help you better understand the larger vision behind Mathews Counseling, strengthen your connection to the community around your work, and clarify how your individual voice and values contribute to what we are building together.
